Dubai’s Emirates airline announced that it has launched a new iPad app in a bid to reach a growing global mobile audience.

The Emirates App, now available on the global App Store, will allow customers to manage all aspects of their booking, the airline said. People can book flights, select seats and meals, manage their Emirates Skywards frequent flyer accounts, check in online, and download their boarding pass directly from the app.

Personal flight details and product and service information are stored in the app, so users can also view it offline, a statement said. Read more
